Quick answer: Put at least one statement (or pass) under every block header and make the whole file use one indentation style — Godot's editor can convert the file in one action.

GDScript is whitespace-structured like Python, and this error means a header promised a block that never came — or came with unreadable indentation. Here are the three variants.

1. Fill empty blocks with pass

A stubbed func on_win(): with nothing under it is a parse error; add pass until the real body exists.

2. Unify tabs vs spaces

Code pasted from the web mixes styles invisibly. Use Edit > Convert Indent to Tabs (or spaces) on the whole file, and enable drawing whitespace to see it.

3. Check the line after the colon

The statement under the header must be exactly one level deeper; a same-level or double-indented line breaks the block.

4. Let the editor warn early
